This section describes how to configure a Zetafax Server to use Zetafax Online for sending and/or receiving faxes.
Prerequisites
Before configuring the link to Zetafax Online, you should complete the following tasks:
•Install the Zetafax Server software, including entering the starter system license and any other feature add-on licenses.
For hybrid servers being used with a fax board or other local fax device in addition to Zetafax Online, we recommend you install and test with the fax device first before configuring Zetafax Online.
•Create a Zetafax user account to use for testing – the Zetafax Server setup wizard prompts you to do this during installation.
•Install the Zetafax Client software on the Zetafax Server or another client computer.
•Start the Zetafax Server, then launch the Zetafax Client and confirm that you can login as your user account and connect to the Zetafax Server (ie so the client application title bar says “Zetafax”, not “Zetafax – Offline”).
These steps are described in the product documentation, which can also be accessed using the links below.
To configure Zetafax Online, you will require the following information, which is usually supplied by email after subscribing to the Zetafax Online service:
•Zetafax Online add-on license (e.g. “U1234567 – ONLINE – ABCDEF”)
•Zetafax Online user ID (e.g. “U1234567 – ABCDE – FGHI – JKLMNO”)
•Zetafax Online password
•For systems other than Corporate Edition: Zetafax Corporate Edition upgrade license
