Zetadocs includes a hard copy option as an alternative delivery method. This allows you to print off hard copies of reports to be posted in the mail. Zetadocs automatically consolidates all of your customers that prefer hard copies within a Zetadocs batch delivery job, into an ordered single PDF file. This is then emailed to the designated staff member or shared internal mailbox for printing. The PDF to be printed is collated per customer so that it’s easy to manage the printed output.

The Hard Copy delivery method uses the Zetadocs template that is set for each report. This can be useful if you have some reports that need to use pre-printed stationery, or want to include additional documents to be printed, like seasonal promotions. You can modify the template used by following the Document Templates section and then choosing the Template ID for all reports, of for specific reports.

Open Business Central and use the search button to search for 'Zetadocs Hard Copy Printer'.
Select Zetadocs Hard Copy Printer Settings from the search results.

The settings available are:

Hard Copy Printer Settings

Field	Description
ReportID	When selecting Hard Copy as a delivery method the Report ID field is used to retrieve the Printer settings for this report only, a blank value enables this for all reports.
Report Name	The name of the Report, this is populated automatically.
UserID	When selecting Hard Copy as a delivery method the User ID field is used to retrieve the Printer settings for that user, a blank value enables this for all users.
User E-mail	The email address of the user or shared mailbox that will print the hard copy output, this will be used by Zetadocs Delivery when selecting the Hard Copy option.
Template ID	When selecting Hard Copy as a delivery method the Template ID field is used to retrieve the Zetadocs Template to be used, a blank value will use a built-in system template.
Template Name	The name of the template selected, this is populated automatically.

The Hard Copy Printer Settings page allows you to configure a printer by User Id and Report Id including leaving the fields blank to enable it for all users or reports. If no match is found for User ID and Report Id then it will look for a match on the Report Id and a blank User Id, if no match is found then it will search for a User Id and blank Report Id, then finally a blank User Id and blank Report Id (this is the default setup). This allows you to configure different Printers for different users or reports.

When the Template ID is blank or you do not set any Template ID, Zetadocs will use a system wide hard copy template for any customers or vendors where Hard Copy is set as their default delivery method. You can edit this default template by choosing the ZD-Print Template and then following the Document Templates section to update it or create your own Zetadocs Template
