Zetadocs system testing ensures that Zetadocs Delivery and Zetadocs Capture are correctly installed and setup before inviting Zetadocs users to start using the system.

 

Share documents related to Business Central customer records

Each Zetadocs licensed Business Central user can to share key customer documents within the organization by dragging them onto the Documents FactBox. These captured documents are then visible in SharePoint online to appropriately permissioned staff.

 

1. Sign into Business Central as the same user that ran the Zetadocs Delivery and Zetadocs Capture Assisted Setup.
2. Open Customers and navigate to a Business Central Customer record.
3. Drag a document, or another file onto the Documents FactBox.
4. Once uploaded, click the uploaded document displayed in the Documents FactBox.
5. Note that clicking on the document opens or downloads it from the SharePoint site you set during the Assisted Setup.
6. The same document appears in the Zetadocs library in SharePoint Online.

 

Email batches of personalized Business Central records

Zetadocs emails batches of documents in PDF format from within Business Central using contacts' email addresses, helping your finance team produce and send documents such as customer invoices and statements.

 

1. Sign into Business Central as the same user that ran the Zetadocs Delivery and Zetadocs Capture Assisted Setup.
2. Open Posted Sales Invoices and choose Zetadocs > Send on the Actions bar.
3. Enter a range of records in the No. filter on the Edit – Sales – Invoice request page and click OK.
4. Click Consolidate E-Mails and then click OK.
5. Click OK to send the consolidated batch of Posted Sales Invoices to their Business Central contacts.
6. NOTE: If you’d like to view the consolidated email, edit the Business Central contact email address to one that you have access to.

 

 

You have now successfully tested the Zetadocs Delivery and Zetadocs Capture installation. You are now ready to invite your Zetadocs users to start using the system. They can find an overview of Zetadocs here.

 

Next Step

If you are installing Zetadocs Capture to work with Document Queues, you also need to install the Zetadocs Server on premises so that it can monitor network folders for scanned files and convert those documents into PDF/A files.
