PRB: Call not answered when sending from a Brooktrout card with version 9 Print ZTN1416 ID: ZTN1416 This Zetafax technical note applies to: Zetafax 9.0 Symptom After installing version 9 on a new system with a Brooktrout Tr114 or Trufax card, the server reports call not answered when sending out a fax. Cause This is caused by an incorrect setting in the Btcall.cfg file that was shipped with the Zetafax 9 installation. Note: This issue will not occur with Zetafax 9 Service Pack 1. Resolution There are two resolutions to this issue. The btcall.cfg file is kept in the Zetafax server\Server\Btrout folder. Open up this file with notepad. There are two parameters that need to be changed as detailed below: ced_timeout 4000 country_code 0440 Please ensure that you enter your specific country code as the one above is set for the UK. If the resolution above does not work then please rename the btcall.cfg to Btcall.old. Then rename the btcall.new to Btcall.cfg. Please also change the country code to your country setting. If configuring the board in the UK please change this to 0440. Note: The Btcall files will be located in the zfax\server\ (where zfax is the path to the Zetafax root folder) folder.
