Summary

This document is intended to help the administrator verify the current version of the Zetafax programs on the system.

More information

Most Zetafax programs are interoperable and may be upgraded as such. The following list helps you determine the version details.

Zetafax Server

To view the major version of the Zetafax server programs:

1. Launch the Zetafax server monitor program.
2. Select 'About...' (Help menu) to view the version information.

Zetafax Server Programs

To view individual Zetafax server program versions:

1. Launch Windows Explorer and navigate to zfax\SERVER, where 'zfax' is the name of the directory where the Zetafax server files are installed.
2. Search for the specific program (e.g. DEVFC.EXE - the Class1 and 2 device driver).
3. Right click the program and choose 'Properties'. Select the 'Version' tab to view the version number.

Zetafax Mail Gateway Programs

To verify the Zetafax mail gateway version:

1. Launch Windows Explorer and navigate to zfax\MAIL, where 'zfax' is the name of the directory where the Zetafax server files are installed.
2. Search for STM32.EXE (Zetafax Mail submitter program).
3. Right click the program and choose 'Properties'. Select the 'Version' tab to view the version number.

Zetafax Exchange Connector

To view the version of the Zetafax connector for Microsoft Exchange.

1. Launch Windows Explorer and navigate to \exchsrvr\connect\zetafax, where 'exchsrvr' is the name of the directory where the Microsoft Exchange server files are installed.
2. Locate ZFCONNECTOR.EXE (Zetafax Exchange connector program).
3. Right click the program and choose 'Properties'. Select the 'Version' tab to view the version number.

Zetafax Outlook Extensions

To verify the version of the Outlook extensions installed.

1. Launch Windows Explorer and navigate to \program files\zetafax outlook extensions, this is the name of the directory chosen during the Zetafax Outlook Extensions install program (ZFOUTEXT.EXE).
2. Locate OUTEXT.DLL (Outlook Extensions).
3. Right click the library and choose 'Properties'. Select the 'Version' tab to view the version number.
