HOWTO: Printing the header line for sent and received documents from the Zetafax Client Print ZTN1851 ID: ZTN1851 This Zetafax technical note applies to: Zetafax 2011 Summary This document describes how to print documents with a header line from the Zetafax Client.The Zetadocs Viewer doesn’t support this feature. More information The header line contains the following information: Date and time of the transmission (blank if not yet transmitted). Direction: sent or received. Represented by a left-to-right or right-to-left arrow. User name and fax number. Message ID. Current page / page total. Printing the header line on documents can be configured for both sent and received documents. Enable printing of the header line To enable the feature for a given user: First close the Zetafax Client as well as any instance of the Zetafax Viewer. Open an explorer window and edit the following file: \\< ZetafaxServer> \ZFAX\USERS\< UserName> \Z-DB\USER.INI Under the [OPTIONS] section, add the following settings: PrintSentHeader: YES PrintRecdHeader: YES Save and close the document. The PrintSentHeader option enables the printing of the header line on the sent documents, which are included in the following sections of the Zetafax Client left-side panel: Outbox Sent Items Sent Archive The PrintRecdHeader option enables it for the following sections: Inbox Received Archive Changing the font size of the header line The font size used to print the header line on Zetafax documents is stored in the registry. To modify it, proceed to the following: First close the Zetafax Client as well as any instance of the Zetafax Viewer. Click on Start, Run, and run regedit (regedit.exe) From the left-hand-side explorer panel, browse to the following location: HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Equisys > Zetafax > Options9 Perform a right click on the HeaderLineFontSize entry and select Modify… Select the decimal base and enter a value in points in the value data field(default value is 12 points). Select OK and open the Zetafax Client. Print a document from one of the enabled sections.
