Summary

This document provides an overview of the fax header on re-transmitted faxes function.

In order to enable the functionality described below, you will be required to manually edit the setup.ini file found in the < Zetafax install folder> \System\Z-DB\ folder.  It is recommended that you make a backup of this file before proceeding.

Currently when a user retransmits a fax they have three options available to them.  These options are configured on a device-by-device basis using the Zetafax Configuration program:

• Resend all.
• Continue from last page.
• Resend first page then continue.

Previously, Resend All has marked the Coversheet page (first page) with a retransmission header, and then resent all pages.  New functionality in Zetafax Server 2006 for all customers (Zetafax 9.1 for Software Assurance customers only), provides the ability to mark both the Coversheet page and all subsequent pages with a retransmission header.

To enable this functionality, do the following:

1. Open the SETUP.INI file located in the < Zetafax Server install folder> \System\Z-DB\ folder.
2. Add the following line to each device paragraph, e.g. [FCLASS-1], that you want to use the new functionality.

RetransmitHeadAll: Yes

This setting will be used to place the retransmission header on all fax pages when the 'Resend All' option is used.
