PRB: Embedded objects in Word documents are rendered as grey rectangles

Symptom

Faxes that are rendered using the Document conversion add-on (Doctiff.exe) contain grey rectangles in place of embedded objects.

Cause

The Document conversion add-on adds a coloured background to the embedded object. This background causes the grey scale image to appear on the fax.

Status

This has been identified by Equisys as a problem with the software versions given above.
