PRB: It is not possible to delete junk message rules from the Zetafax Client Print ZTN1750 ID: ZTN1750 This Zetafax technical note applies to: Zetafax 2009 Symptom When attempting to delete a message rule from the inbox rules dialog in the Zetafax Client, the rule will appear to have been deleted successfully. However when the inbox rules dialog is opened again the rule will still appear in the list. Cause When attempting to delete a rule a message is sent to the Zetafax Server telling it to delete the rule. The Zetafax Server is encountering an error when attempting to delete a rule in this way. Resolution To get around this problem the steps to follow are: Close the Zetafax Client belonging to the user who created the rule. Delete the rule from the Zetafax Configuration Tool located on your Zetafax Server computer. Status This has been identified by Equisys as a problem with the software versions given above.
