PRB: Printing a report from NAV 4.0 fails on Windows Vista 64-bit

This Zetadocs technical note applies to:

  • Zetadocs for NAV 3.0 and later

Symptom

On an NAV 4.0 system running on Windows Vista 64-bit, printing a report to Zetadocs will result in NAV crashing and/or being generally unstable.

Cause

NAV 4.0 (without a particular service pack and hotfix) is not supported on Windows Vista 64-bit. 

Resolution

In order for it to be supported, you must apply Service Pack 3 for NAV 4.0 and also apply Hotfix 1.

Status

This has been identified by Equisys as a problem with the software versions given above.
