PRB: Unable to delete certain files from the Zetadocs Document Queue Print ZTN4040 ID: ZTN4040 This Zetadocs for NAV technical note applies to: Zetadocs for NAV 2.1 Symptom Deleting an item from a Zetadocs Document Queue results in the following error message, however, the document is not open on the users system. This results in the user being unable to delete the item from the queue. This issue can occur when deleting a document in either of the following ways: Select an item in the document queue, then click menu button “Item-> Delete” Select an item in the document queue and press the F4 key Select an item in the document queue, then either create or associate the document with a NAV record. After processing and the document has been archived to SharePoint you select to delete the document on the archiving notification dialog. Cause This problem is caused by the original file having READ-ONLY security settings. Resolution Browse to the network folder of the queue and locate the offending file and removing the Read-Only attribute. Following that, you should return to the document queue in NAV and delete from there. Doing it in this way ensures that you do not delete a commonly named file. Removing Read-Only attributes: Right click the file. Click “Properties”. On the properties dialog uncheck the Read-Only checkbox.
