PRB: Zetadocs Client intermittently fails with a JIT error

This Zetadocs technical note applies to:

  • Zetadocs for NAV v4.0 to v4.2
  • Zetadocs for GP v2.5

Symptom

During normal use the Zetadocs Client can terminate unexpectedly with a just in time debugger error.

The error message will be of the form:

“System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.”

Cause

This problem is due to an issue with the Zetadocs Client.

Resolution

A hotfix is available to address this error.

Status
