PRB: Zetadocs GP configuration dialogs showing when opening the GP client and logging into an already set up company. Print ZTN4103 ID: ZTN4103 This Zetadocs technical note applies to: Version 2.5 of Zetadocs for GP Symptom When selecting custom installation on a client (non-admin) machine and on first opening the GP client and logging in as a company that has already been set up for Zetadocs, the initial configuration screen shows up asking if the user wants to configure Zetadocs for GP. This happens when all of the following circumstances occur: In the Zetadocs for GP installation program, a custom install is selected for the Zetadocs for GP client install. Additionally, this will only apply when the installer elects to install the sample templates, sample reports or administrative components. The OS is 64 bit. Zetadocs for GP has already been configured for the company. The user logging in is a power user. Cause This is caused by 2 issues in the Zetadocs installation process. An administrative install component is copied onto the system unexpectedly, and the detection of an already installed system is currently non-functioning in 64 bit operating systems. Resolution Answering ‘No’ on the dialog will prevent it from appearing on subsequent attempts. Status This has been identified by Equisys as a problem with the software versions given above.
