The Zetafax client will crash every time you attempt to subsequently open the 'Address Book'. This problem does not occur if you configure the 'ODBC Data Source' using a 'Machine Data Source'. Resolution To fix the problem for a user who is already experiencing this behaviour, work through the following steps: On the Zetafax Server, go into the '< zfax> \USERS\< username> \Z-DB folder'. (Where '< zfax> ' is the name of the directory where the Zetafax server files are located, and < username> is the affected user's Zetafax login. Open the file USER.INI using Notepad, and delete the [DATASOURCE] section. As in the example below: [DATASOURCE] Type: Database Edit: 1 Sourcename: Faxblast Qualifier: Drivername: Databaseuser: Parameter: TESTBedParameter Connection: DBQ=C:\db1.mdb;DefaultDir=C:\;Driver={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)};DriverId=25;FIL=MS Access;FILEDSN=C:\db1.md Fax: ID Name: name Organisation: Organisation Save the file and exit from Notepad. Then follow the instructions below to create an ODBC link correctly. How to configure a ODBC Data Source You must configure the ODBC Data Source as a Machine DSN. To do this work through the following steps: When presented with the addressing dialog box, click on the Address Book.. Button. From the drop-down list select the ODBC data source. When the Select Data Source Dialog appears, click the Machine Data Source tab, then highlight the database type in the list.
