Summary
By default, the ZSUBMIT command %%[FONT] will only allow you to specify a Zetafax font (e.g.: ROMAN12). This document explains how to work around this limitation, and use Windows True Type fonts instead.
More information
The syntax for True Type fonts in ZSUBMIT is as follows:
%%[F O N T: font name, font size, weight/style]
Where 'font name' is the name of the font as it appears in Windows, 'font size' is the size of the font in points, and 'weight/style' is the formatting codes.
The formatting codes are:
bold
|
I
|
italics
|
U
|
underlined
|
NOTE: that the spaces between the letters in "F O N T" are significant and should be typed exactly as above.
For example, if a line of text needs to be formatted in bold Arial 8, you would use this syntax:
%%[F O N T: Arial, 8, B]
And bold, italicised, underlined Times New Roman in size 10 can be obtained with this command:
%%[F O N T: Times New Roman, 10, B, I, U]
Note: Some True Type fonts may cause the line spacing to become reduced. This can be remedied by using the ZSUBMIT %%[DOWN: ] command.
