The following changes have been made to version 8.0 of Zetadocs for NAV.

Server only installation for simpler deployments

Version 8 of Zetadocs for NAV can be deployed as a complete server only installation. This deployment option significantly simplifies a Zetadocs installation for partners as no software is required to be installed on each client PC. Instead, all software is installed centrally on the Dynamics NAV server, which additionally simplifies any future updates too. Most future updates will not involve updating the NAV objects, and can therefore be installed by NAV customers themselves without needing their partners to update NAV.

Powerful PDF email automation

Zetadocs for NAV server only installation for PDF email automation for Dynamics NAV 2015 onwards, offers customers flexible control over adding standard attachments like T&Cs, consolidates multiple emails to the same recipient, offers configurable delivery rules to set the FROM email address, add additional recipients, change the default delivery method, as well as schedule* bulk-email batches using NAV Job Queues.

Enhanced support for Dynamics NAV HTML Clients and ClickOnce clients

Server deployments also mean that Zetadocs Delivery customers using the NAV Web Client or Windows Client deployed via ClickOnce can send personalised PDFs in consolidated email batches too. Zetadocs Capture customers can now use the Zetadocs multi-user document queues to create NAV Sales and Purchase records from centrally scanned inbound documents with any of the new NAV HTML Clients.

Automated filing of inbound documents

The Zetadocs for NAV customisable document queues have been updated to run on the Dynamics NAV server to take advantage of the automation offered by NAV Job Queues, opening up additional automation scenarios like the scheduled* autofiling of documents with barcodes to existing NAV records that run unattended on the NAV server.

* Ability to schedule batches or other unattended automation options require a Zetadocs Plus license.

Extending custom folders with Zetadocs Capture Plus

Create custom folder structures with Zetadocs for NAV Capture Plus that match specific business logic. When using the Zetadocs Documents FactBox via drag & drop or when using the multi-user Zetadocs Document Queues, documents can now be stored following custom business rules no matter how you choose to capture them.

Assurance with Certified for Microsoft Dynamics NAV (CfMD)

Zetadocs for NAV, which includes NAV’s downloadable document management module Zetadocs Express has been awarded Certified for Microsoft Dynamics NAV (CfMD) for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016.

General Improvements and enhancements:

Improve performance when searching the archive from the Document FactBox by not returning documents attached to lines by default

FIX: Zetadocs SDK search and Any Client Addin does not find documents using the ZetadocsArchiveID

FIX: Unable to delete from Zetadocs Factbox

FIX: Unable to print Zetadocs enabled reports when archiving is turned off
