FIX: Unable to address a fax to contacts using Zetadocs PDF Client Print ZTN4413 ID: ZTN4413 This Zetadocs technical note applies to: Zetadocs PDF versions 8 & 9 Symptom When attempting to address a fax using the fax addressing dialog’s Search button in the Zetadocs PDF Client, only contacts with the Business Fax field populated will be added to the list of recipients. Any other fax fields are ignored and a new recipient is not added. Cause The Zetadocs PDF versions listed above contained a restriction that only recognised the Business Fax field in Outlook contacts as a valid fax field. This field is one of 3 fax fields provided by Outlook, so contact numbers were not always picked up. Additionally, contacts in Active Directory will not have a Business Fax number, so their fax numbers were not picked up. Resolution This issue has been resolved in the April update rollup (7.0.392) of Zetadocs for NAV, available for download here. Status This behaviour was corrected in the update detailed above.
