PRB: Unable to register company names containing accented characters Print ZTN1704 ID: ZTN1704 This Zetafax technical note applies to: Zetafax 2008 Symptom With Zetafax 2008, attempting to register with a company name containing accented characters fails. Cause The company name entered automatically in the registration page omits the accented characters, and the registration code supplied if you manually add them back in the registration page, is incorrect. Resolution Workaround is to forward the failure email to support@equisys.com along with C:\Program Files\Zetafax Server\System\Z-DB\LICENCE.DAT (You may need to zip LICENCE.DAT as some mail systems block DAT files). Equisys will respond with a manual registration code. Status This has been identified by Equisys as a problem with the software versions given above.
