PRB: Zetadocs PDF loses information from Word 2007 documents when saving to PDF Print ZTN3556 ID: ZTN3556 This Zetafax technical note applies to: Zetadocs PDF version 4.0 Microsoft Word 2007 Symptom When saving a Word 2007 document to PDF (files with extensions .dotm, .docx etc), some information is lost in the resulting PDF file (e.g. missing text or missing tables that have formatting and features specific to Word 2007). Cause The PDF conversion library used by Zetadocs does not currently support a certain subset of Word 2007 specific document features. Resolution Save Word 2007 files in Word 2000/2003 (.doc) format to allow all document content to be fully compatible with Zetadocs PDF.
