This article describes the new features and other improvements in the April 2024 update of the Zetadocs Delivery and Zetadocs Capture Extension for Business Central.
Release date, version and availability
April 29, 2024 (version 3.0.24106) available for download for on-premises Business Central systems and on Microsoft AppSource for Business Central Online systems from the release date.
Changes in this update
Feature enhancements
Zetadocs Delivery and Zetadocs Capture have been updated with the following improvements:
Adaptable cloud service
Architectural changes to the Zetadocs Cloud Service to improve performance when there is more processing demand on the service.
Better management of duplicate job queues
A change in the way duplicate job queues run simultaneously on the same SharePoint document queue folder, typically the same queue on the production and sandbox environments, by restricting the next run to a minimum timeframe, currently five minutes.
Better installation insights
Zetadocs Extension installation specific telemetry is now logged to Azure AppInsights for better installation troubleshooting.
Quality and performance improvements
This update includes a number of quality and performance improvements, including:
Unable to upload non-PDF files to some Document Queues
Fixed an issue introduced in the February 2024 update, where non-PDF files were automatically removed during the preprocessing of non-AP enabled Zetadocs Document Queues.
Line sort order lost during order matching
Zetadocs AP automation now maintains the order of vendors invoice lines during order matching, making it easier to keep track of which invoice lines have been matched.
Unit cost incorrectly calculated with discounts
Fixed an issue with Zetadocs AP automation where the unit cost was not correctly calculated, if the same line item from that vendor had a line discount previously applied.
Job Queue errors when no link information
Resolved an issue where the Business Central Job Queue Entry used to automate the Zetadocs Document Queue would error out. Job queues will now complete processing for all documents with link information and leave documents without links in the queue for manual processing later.
There is a file with the same name errors
Zetadocs Capture’s Document Queues now have added protection against processing duplicate files, by preventing queues running in parallel on the same SharePoint folder.
Invoice values swapped after processing
Resolved an issue with Zetadocs AP automation issue whereby the Quantity and Amount values are interchanged after processing some invoices.
_converted folder is visible by default
Resolved an issue were the default view on Zetadocs SharePoint document library would display the hidden _converted folder.
