New option to ‘Add Captured Field’ from vendor invoices
This article describes the new features and other improvements in the June 2026 update of the Zetadocs Delivery and Zetadocs Capture Extension for Business Central.

July 1, 2026 (version 3.0.26167) available for download for on-premises Business Central systems and on Microsoft Marketplace for Business Central Online systems from the release date.

Feature enhancements
The following new feature enhancements are included in this release:
New option to ‘Add Captured Field’ when processing vendor invoices
There is a new option to ‘Add Captured Field’ on the Zetadocs AP automation Preview screen. This allows an extra field that Zetadocs has captured from the vendor document, to be added to a new invoice line The extra field will then be automatically added in future when processing invoices from the same vendor.
Improved learning logic to cater for dates in line descriptions
The Zetadocs learning logic has been improved, so that mappings (between the vendor invoice line description and the Business Central GL or Item account) are remembered where there are small date related differences.
For example, a vendor invoice may have a line description 'Business Broadband - January' one month and 'Business Broadband - February' the next month. Previously in this scenario, the line mapping to a GL/Item account would not have been remembered when the line description changes, but this will now be remembered where the difference is date related - providing a time saving for repeat invoices.
Restrict imported AP Automation descriptions to one invoice line
Some vendor invoice line entries may span more than one line on the Zetadocs AP automation Preview screen., This is because the maximum number of characters that is allowed in the Business Central ‘Description’ line field has been exceeded and Zetadocs adds the excess characters to a new ‘Comment’ line
There is now a new Zetadocs System Rule setting available to allow users to keep extracting the full line description (in the same way as described above) or to restrict this to a single line instead (meaning Zetadocs will truncate the line description characters that exceed the Business Central field limit).
For new systems the above option will be OFF by default. There will be no change for existing systems, unless customers choose to switch the above setting ON.
Quality and performance improvements
This update includes a number of quality and performance improvements, including the following:
Restored line number search lookup on AP Automation Preview page
The searchable 'popup' style lookup for line-item numbers on the AP Automation Preview page has been restored. This was unavailable after the March 2026 update but has now been changed back to the default behaviour.
Improvements to error messaging and user flow for 'No refresh token was supplied' Documents FactBox error
An intermittent issue occurs with some users, where they receive a 'No refresh token was supplied' error in the Zetadocs Documents FactBox, and on following the sign-in flow, are presented with the same error.
A workaround is available for impacted users whilst Equisys investigates a more permanent resolution.
The workaround is to sign out and then sign in from the Zetadocs Authorization page. This page is now linked from the error message to allow users to self-correct the issue without administrator help.
Support for batch sending of Payment Journals via multi-select
It is now possible to multi-select multiple Payment Journal lines on the 'Payment Journals' page to send batches, without needing to alter the request page.
Vendor rules are not imported from Zetadocs Configuration files
Resolved a bug with the Zetadocs Configuration import where the vendor rules were being skipped when restoring a setup via importing of a configuration file.
‘An error occurred and the transaction is stopped' error when processing a Document Queue item with Archiving disabled
Fixed a rare scenario where an error dialog appears if a document queue is set up to have the 'Archive Document' option disabled.
No error returned to SDK calls when performing a delivery with 'Consolidate Email' option enabled
Corrected the SendResult return on Zetadocs SDK calls to ensure any delivery errors are correctly reported when the 'Consolidate Email' option is enabled.
'The file could not be found' error in Documents FactBox when performing drag and drop from Outlook Classic
Improved error messaging and implemented additional resilience to handle situations where a drag and drop from Outlook Classic fails due to intermittent Outlook issues.
Vendor Rule card shows unrelated contact information
Fixed an issue where the 'Contact Information' FactBox on the Zetadocs Vendor Rule card was not showing the correct vendor contact information.
Emails being sent from user's address instead of configured 'From' address
Resolved an issue where if a 'From' address is configured in a Zetadocs System Rule with extra whitespace at the end of the address, this address would not be recognized and the user's email is used for sending instead.
Zetadocs Templates with attachments containing special characters in filename cause delivery to fail
Fixed a bug with the Zetadocs Template parsing, so that attachments specified in the template with special characters in the filename are sent correctly and do not cause the delivery to fail.
Known issues with released features
Combining or matching all invoice lines using the 'Select All' button when matching lines does not work.
Business Central has a 'Select All' button on most list pages, The Zetadocs AP Automation order matching page does not currently support use of this button, users should either multi-select or individually select relevant items instead. There is currently an incompatibility between Business Central's select all functionality and the data passed back to Extensions. A technote with a workaround provides more details.
