FIX: Cyrillic characters not being recognized by OCR Print ZTN4493 This Zetadocs technical note applies to: Version 2.3.1410.4 of Zetadocs Server and earlier Symptom When a document containing cyrillic characters is processed by the Zetadocs Document Converter it is observed that the conversion is not done correctly by the OCR (Abbyy). The output file might contain random ASCII characters where it cannot convert properly. This behaviour can be reproduced on any hardware and operating system when the above action is performed. Cause This is to do with a problem identified in the software. Resolution This fault was corrected in a hotfix, which is available by contacting Equisys Technical Support and quoting the technote number ZTN4493. This fix handles the problem identified in the software correctly. Status This behaviour was corrected in the hotfix detailed above.
