HOWTO: Recover and re-submit documents that failed to be processed by Zetadocs Document Queue
Print
ZTN4615
This Zetadocs technical note applies to:
- Zetadocs Extension (all versions)
Summary
When Zetadocs Capture encounters an error when trying to process a file via Document Queues processing, the file gets quarantined in the _failedProcessing folder in SharePoint.
This technote will list the common errors that may raise to help updating the settings before re-trying.
More information
The document may have been corrupted.
It can happen when uploading to SharePoint from a ZIP or RAR file directly without extracting. In this case, find the original file and extract it locally before uploading again.
The barcodes may not be recognised
When trying to split on barcodes, it may happen that no barcodes get detected, resulting in a fault. In that case, please follow the guidance in ZTN4091.
The document is password protected or encrypted
If the file is password protected or encrypted then the Zetadocs Cloud Service will not be able to process the file so it's ready for AP Automation or to extract any barcodes. All documents will need to be unlocked/unecrypted before uploading them again.
