PRB: "Background calculations could not start due to resource starvation..." error message when trying to open in Excel via Business Central Print ZTN4555 This Zetadocs technical note applies to: Business Central and Business Central Online version 17.5 and above Zetadocs Extensions Symptom When a user clicks on “Open in Excel” button on a page in BC with the Zetadocs Documents Factbox enabled. You can receive the following error: "Background calculations could not start due to resource starvation. Some values on the page may not be updated further." Cause Upon clicking "Open in Excel", Microsoft triggers Zetadocs functionality for every single record in the list page. This means when clicking "Open in Excel", the factbox refreshes all the records at the same time. Resolution As a workaround, you can go into Zetadocs General Settings page and enable "Load without document list to improve page load" option. This will allow factbox to be loaded manually rather than automatically when you go onto a page and will improve the overall performance when you click on "Open in Excel" button. Status Equisys is aware of this issue and will update this technical note when a solution has been found.
