PRB: Unable to drag and drop from New Outlook to Zetadocs Factbox Print ZTN4477 ID: ZTN4477 This Zetadocs technical note applies to: Zetadocs for NAV 11.1 & newer Zetadocs for Business Central Extension 3.0 & newer New Outlook client Symptom When using the New Outlook client, it is not possible to drag and drop directly from Outlook to the Zetadocs Document Factbox. Cause The New Outlook client does not currently support drag and drop functionality to a browser, with drag and drop limited to folders within the local machine. According to Microsoft, this feature is under consideration but there is no estimated time of arrival (ETA) for its implementation, nor a guarantee that it will be included in future releases. Resolution The primary workaround for drag and drop limitations in New Outlook is to switch back to Classic Outlook, which does have wider support for drag and drop to browsers. However, this does not always ensure that drag and drop will work directly from Classic Outlook into the Zetadocs Factbox. If direct drag and drop from Outlook to the Factbox does not work, you can use a two-step process: Drag the file onto your desktop. Drag the file from the desktop into the Factbox. Alternatively, you can use the "Save As" option when right-clicking on emails in both New Outlook and Classic Outlook. After saving the email, you can then drag and drop the saved file into the Factbox.
