NAVUG Summit North America

We were recently invited to Nashville Tennessee to present at the prestigious NAVUG Summit North America, an iconic annual event within the Microsoft Dynamics NAV community. After leading a session on the topic of cloud-based add-ons for NAV at the first edition of the event in Amsterdam, Netherlands, we were delighted when the opportunity arose to share our knowledge with the delegates of the event in North America.

As NAV on premise is highly customizable for individual business needs, it can be difficult to imagine how a move to cloud-based NAV add-ons could replicate that functionality. Equally, cloud-based applications are enabling greater mobility, auto-upgrades and increasing software flexibility for finance teams (and beyond), leading to a great level of enthusiasm towards embracing cloud-first software. Our workforce is increasingly more mobile and software needs to keep up with this demand.

There are pros and cons to using cloud-based add-ons within NAV. Whether it is for document management or expense management or any other functionality such as reporting, using software that complements your NAV system and that is based in the cloud is a decision that every modern business should consider. Taking individual business circumstances into account is an important part of it the decision-making process.

With that in mind, we'd like to share a snippet from the NAV presentation lead by Paul Crawley, our Sales and Marketing Director, titled “Cloud-based add-ons: What they mean for your Dynamics NAV environment”:

What do you think about cloud-based add-ons? Do you use them with your on premise or cloud-based NAV system?
