Feature enhancements
Improved Tasks screen for approvers
We have improved the Tasks screen in the client app, adding the report ID and the name of the report owner (submitter). This makes it easier for a processor or approver with a large number of approval requests to find a specific report, or to process multiple requests for each user together.
Custom property configuration improvements
We have updated the Manage Custom Property screen in the admin site to improve the way it displays and updates properties with a large number of values. This makes it easier to view and edit custom properties with hundreds of values, and ensures that editing the list of values works reliably when the system is heavily loaded.
Quality and performance improvements
This update includes a number of quality and performance improvements, including the following
Corrected view link in Business Central records
When a report is exported the Purchase Invoice and other records which are created in Business Central include a hyperlink which can be used to view the report or expense in Zetadocs Expenses. This link is not visible by default, but will have been made visible for some users.
The link should start with the text https://expenses.zetadocs.com/index.html. However on some records created during November the first section https://expenses.zetadocs.com was omitted from the link, and clicking on the link will therefore not work correctly.
This issue was corrected on November 24 for reports exported after that point. For any reports exported before then with the issue, you can view the report or expense in Zetadocs Expenses by using the Search option in the Zetadocs Expenses app.
Additional upgrade steps
Extension for Business Central
If you are using a Microsoft hosted version of Business Central, you can update the Zetadocs Expenses Extension from the Manage Apps page in the Business Central Admin Center. Updates are typically available on Microsoft AppSource within a few days of release.
If you are using a Business Central system running on-premises or hosted by another company, you should contact your Business Central Reseller (VAR) for information about how to upgrade the Zetadocs Expenses Extension.
This release is compatible with all previous versions of the Extension for Business Central.
NAV Server Components
The NAV Server Components have not been updated in this release.
This release is compatible with previous versions of the NAV Server Components (versions 3.3.18178 and later).
Reporting Template
The PowerBI Reporting Template has not been updated in this release.
Mobile apps
Installed mobile apps will be updated automatically on mobile devices where this is enabled.
