Changes in this update

Quality and performance improvements

This update includes general quality and performance improvements, including the following:

Unable to recover after failure when exporting report

We have corrected an infrequent issue which could cause a report to remain in state processing after failure of an export attempt, preventing the finance processor from retrying the export process.

Reports which fail to export will now be returned to the awaiting export state.

Report export fails with Business Central April 2019 release

The April 2019 release of Dynamics Business Central (BC14) includes a breaking change for on-premises systems which prevents the Zetadocs Expenses Connector exporting reports to Business Central.  The latest cumulative update for older Business Central systems (BC13 CU4) also includes this breaking change.

We have updated the Zetadocs Expenses codeunits to correct the issue.  The update is compatible with older versions of Business Central.

This change requires the Connector for NAV to be upgraded to the version in this release

Additional upgrade steps

Zetadocs Expenses Connector for NAV

This release is compatible with previous versions of the Zetadocs Expenses Connector (versions 3.3.18178 and later).

Versions of the Zetadocs Expenses Connector before the June 2019 release (versions before 3.3.19148) will not work with Business Central on-premises systems using the April 2019 of Business Central (BC14), or with older Business Central systems with cumulative update 4 (BC13 CU4).

To upgrade the connector, follow the instructions in this technote.  Please contact Equisys for further assistance if required.
