Changes in this update

Feature enhancements

Email receipts

Online bookings are now easier to capture by forwarding email receipts from your corporate email account to receipts@zetadocs.com.  Zetadocs Expenses creates a draft expense for each email you send, making it far quicker to complete the expense details to include in your next expense report.

The email message and each attached file are added to the expense as separate receipts, enabling you to view them simply within the client.  The system determines the correct user account automatically by matching the email sender address to your Zetadocs Account name.

Google maps integration

When entering mileage expenses you can now enter the start and end points and the app will calculate the distance automatically using Google Maps.  You can display a map showing the route, and adjust the route on screen if necessary.

The system administrator can configure limits, based on the excess mileage and/or percentage.  Warning limits alert the approver to check the mileage being claimed, while error limits prevent the user submitting the mileage expense if preferred.

This feature is now available on all UK and US accounts.

Quality and performance improvements

This update includes general quality and performance improvements, including correcting the following issues.

Distance calculation for ferry journeys

We have improved the new Google Maps feature to exclude non-driving sections when calculating the journey distance.  This removes the need for users to enter journeys including a ferry as two or more separate mileage records, and reduces the risk of users claiming the wrong amount for a journey.

Report history not shown

Previously when you displayed an Expense Report for another user, the history section was not always shown.  This has now been corrected.

Unable to export vehicle report with personal mileage reclaim

We have corrected an intermittent issue which blocked exporting vehicle reports when the reimbursement method was set to reclaim personal mileage.

Additional upgrade steps

Zetadocs Expenses Connector for NAV

This release is compatible with older versions of the Zetadocs Expenses Connector and NAV codeunits.

Mobile apps

Installed mobile apps will be updated automatically on mobile devices where this is enabled.
