Changes in this update
Feature enhancements
Support for Business Central 2024 wave 2 (BC25)
This release has been validated against Business Central 2024 wave 2.
Quality and performance improvements
This update includes various improvements including the following:
Improvements around handling of popup dialogs
A number of improvements have been made to behavior of popup dialogs on the Zetadocs Expenses client to provide a more consistent and logical experience when dismissing the dialogs.
Validation error popup shown when saving a payment expense
Resolved an issue where if a payment method has the Cardholder Expense Approval setting changed, then on creating and saving a new payment expense results in a validation error popup.
Reports stuck in processing status after recalling
Resolved a case where if a user recalls a report twice in quick succession, the report can end up stuck in a processing status.
Internal text string displayed when delegating a Payment Card Report with warnings
An issue was introduced in the original 3.4.24292 release of the Desktop browser and mobile apps, relating to an internal string being displayed when delegating a Payment Card Report containing warnings. This string was shown instead of the appropriate warning text. This has been corrected in the 3.4.24299 release of the apps.
Known issues with released features
User field not displayed when viewing report
In some circumstances, the user field, that indicates the submitter user who owns the report, may not be shown when viewing a report from the search page. It is possible to try viewing the report again or to open an expense within the report to see the user.
Additional upgrade steps
Extension for Business Central
This release is compatible with all previous versions of the Extension for Business Central. However, if you are using a previous version, we recommend that you upgrade to the latest version to benefit from stability and performance improvements.
NAV Server Components
The NAV Server Components have not been updated in this release.
This release is compatible with previous versions of the NAV Server Components (versions 3.3.18178 and later).
The Zetadocs Expenses Connector Windows service is installed on your NAV Server computer and manages communication between the Zetadocs server and the Zetadocs NAV Server Components.
