Zetadocs Expenses wins Connected / Mobility Application Solution of the Year

Equisys expense management innovation praised with IT Europa award

Equisys, a leader in document and expense management, was recently awarded an IT Europa Awards trophy for its innovative Zetadocs Expenses solution for corporate travel and expense management.

Now in their tenth year, the European IT & Software Excellence Awards 2018 attracted several hundred entries from all over Europe, with 29 countries represented amongst the finalists. The awards are given for IT solutions that get to the heart of customer issues, delivering better business, a clearer understanding of data, and more efficient and profitable outcomes. The judges, with many decades of experience of IT industry involvement between them, decided on a list of winners that they believe truly reflects both the strength of Europe's IT industry and many of the changes in direction occurring within it.

The Connected / Mobility Application Solution of the Year category focused on the most innovative communications, IOT, m2m or mobility software solution across any industry sector. On the night, the Equisys team was represented by its co-founder and CEO, Chris Oswald, alongside Silvia Ghita, Marketing Manager, and Alastair Thorburn, Account Manager. They collected the trophy for Connected / Mobility Application Solution of the Year from John Garratt, Editor at IT Europa.

The judges were impressed by the results PXtech reported following their implementation of Zetadocs Expenses. They wanted to eliminate the inefficiencies involved in using their legacy manual spreadsheet-based expense management system. Once the decision to go with Zetadocs Expenses was made, the solution was implemented within two days. There were no major challenges during implementation. The PXtech team quickly adapted to the new process and the overall feedback since has been very positive.

Zetadocs Expenses, alongside policy changes, contributed to a decrease in company credit card expenditure at PXtech. The finance team gained greater control over its expense management process and was able to enforce their T&E company policies and enable their team to easily submit expense reports and keep track of receipts by simply uploading photos of them to the Zetadocs Expenses app on mobile, tablets or desktop.

The memorable event continued late into the evening, with twenty-eight more winners being announced by the IT Europa team, the event sponsors, as well as the guest host and radio presenter, Garry Richardson, who was live again on BBC Radio 4 at 6:00 a.m. the next morning.
