FIX: Brooktrout TR1034 - Remote Fax ID is not passed to the Zetafax Client Print ZTN1456 ID: ZTN1456 This Zetafax technical note applies to: Version 9.0.300 (SP1). Symptom When receiving a fax from either a Brooktrout TR1034 or Trufax BRI board, the Remote Fax ID is not picked up correctly, and does not display in the Zetafax Client 'From' field. Cause The Zetafax-Brooktrout TRxStream device controller is not passing the Remote Fax ID correctly through the Zetafax Server. Resolution An updated version of devbtb.exe has been produced to rectify this problem. To fix this issue on affected systems you first need to download the following patch: ftp://ftp.equisys.com/pub/Zetafax9sp1/Brooktrout/TRxStreamDrivers336.zip Then work though the following steps. Stop the Zetafax Server Logon to the Zetafax Server machine and browse to the Zfax\SERVER\ where Zfax is the installation folder of the Zetafax Server files. Rename devbtb.exe to devbtb.old Extract the contents of the downloaded .zip file to a temporary folder. Copy devbtb.exe from the temporary folder to Zfax\SERVER\ Restart the Zetafax Server Status This behaviour has been identified by Equisys as a problem with the above mentioned software version.
