FIX: Incorrect printer driver name is displayed when installing Zetafax Client on certain operating systems Print ZTN2129 This Zetafax technical note applies to: Zetafax Version 17.1 SP1 and earlier Symptom When looking at printer properties for the Zetafax Printer, on the ‘Advanced’ tab, the driver name is shown as ‘ImageMaker Color Print Driver’ instead of ‘ImageMaker FaxBatch Print Driver’. This can cause issues when updating the Zetafax Client to a version with this issue. Any application that prints to the Zetafax Printer and uses the driver name to target the printer will no longer be able to find the Zetafax Printer. Cause This was caused by a packaging error that caused the printer driver that Zetafax Printer uses to be named inconsistently across a few operating systems (for instance, Server 2012 R2) Resolution Update - An update is available here to address this issue. This fixes the name of the print driver to the expected value of ‘ImageMaker FaxBatch Print Driver’ Status This behaviour was corrected in the update detailed above.
