FIX: Unable to export more than 1000 email users from Exchange Online

Symptom

During setup of the Zetafax email gateway for Exchange Online, there is a step to export a list of users that exist on the Exchange Online domain. When performing this export, only up to 1000 users are returned, even when the domain has more than 1000 users.

There are no error messages but the list returned is 1000 users.

Cause

This was a result of a restriction in the software that used a mailbox fetching mechanism that defaulted to 1000 items returned.

Resolution

This fault was corrected in a hotfix, which is available by contacting Equisys Technical Support and quoting the technote number ZTN2132. This hotfix removes the 1000 user restriction and will return the full list of Exchange users.

Status

This behaviour was corrected in the hotfix detailed above.
