FIX: Zetafax Exchange 2007 connector does not process faxes from an Exchange 2003 mailbox Print ZTN1581 ID: ZTN1581 This Zetafax technical note applies to: Zetafax Version 2007 Transition from Microsoft Exchange 2000/2003 to Exchange 2007 Symptom Outbound faxes coming from an Exchange 2003 mailbox do not get processed and end up in the badmail folder of the drop directory on the Exchange 2007 server. Cause Messages sent to the Exchange 2007 drop directory differ in formatting between different versions of Exchange. Any mail sent from the Exchange 2003 mailbox will be routed through a routing group connector to the Exchange 2007 environment. At this point, the message format differs from the Exchange 2007 message format and the *.eml message will be placed in the badmail folder as Zetafax does not recognise the Exchange 2003 format message. Resolution Please install the update 'Zetafax Connector for Exchange 2007 Update' to enable faxes to be sent from both Exchange 2003 and Exchange 2007 mailboxes. Status This behaviour was corrected in the above mentioned patch. Last updated: 30 April 2007 (NT/PJ) Keywords: Zetafax 2007 Exchange 2007 connector mailbox migration
