FIX: Zetafax Outlook forms are blank on Windows 98 Print ZTN1169 ID: ZTN1169 This Zetafax technical note applies to: Zetafax Outlook Extensions version 7.5.0.65 Windows 95 and 98 Symptom Users on Windows 95 and 98 using the Zetafax extensions for Outlook, report the 'New Fax' form is appearing with no text. Cause The Zetafax Outlook Control (ZFOLCTRL) included in this version of the extensions is incompatible with Windows 95/98. However it is fully supported on the other supported platforms. Resolution This issue is resolved by installing an updated version of the Outlook extensions available with the Zetafax connector. The update you install will depend on the version of Exchange you are currently using. Both updates are available on the Equisys web site www.equisys.com/updates as separate downloads for Zetafax 7.5 users. For Exchange 2000, download EX2KCNCTR_V751.EXE and for Exchange 5.5 download EXCNCTR55_V751.EXE. Follow the instructions below for which update to install: Exchange 2000 Install the updated connector. Logon to each Windows 9x workstation that demonstrates the symptom. Ensure Microsoft Outlook is not running, if it is close it. Run the Outlook extensions install. Launch Outlook and click on the 'New Fax' button to confirm the form text is now viewable. Exchange 5.5 Install the updated connector. Logon to each Windows 9x workstation that demonstrates the symptom. Ensure Microsoft Outlook is not running, if it is close it.
