FIX: Zetafax server causes faxes to get corrupted when sending MS Office attachments

This Zetafax technical note applies to:
- Zetafax version 17.1 with Document Rendering Add-on
Symptom
When sending a fax with MS Office attachments using Zetafax email gateway, API, or Z-SUBMIT to the Zetafax server with the Document Rendering Add-on licenced, the Zetafax server attempts to convert the file and fails with the following log lines:
GETDRAWPAGEINFO call failed, Stellent error = 15: One of the parameters was invalid
DOCTIFF returned error code -5
Conversion complete
The Zetafax server will then successfully send the fax to the recipient, the output of the converted word document on the fax appears as follows:
This problem is expected to occur in all installs of Zetafax server 17.1 regardless of the operating system.
Cause
There is a known issue with the Zetafax 17.1 installer where once the installer is run, it does not carry across all the files which would resolve this issue.
Status
Zetafax 17.1 Service Pack 1, available here, contains a resolution to this issue.
