This Zetadocs technical note applies to:

• Zetadocs PDF version 9.0 and above
• Outlook 2007
• Outlook 2010

Summary

Prior to version 9 of Zetadocs PDF, the Outlook addin was installed by default when installing Zetadocs PDF.  With the addition of 64-bit Outlook support in the Zetadocs Client, the Outlook addin is now no longer installed by default.

The information in this technical note explains how to change the default behaviour and install the Outlook extensions with the Zetadocs Client.

Please note that the Zetadocs Outlook Addin is only available for Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010 and will only be able to convert documents supported by Office 2007 or Office 2010 respectively.

NOTE: The Zetadocs Outlook Addin is now at end of life and no longer supported.

In order to install Zetadocs PDF with the Outlook Addin please follow the steps below:

• Uninstall any existing installation of Zetadocs PDF.
• Download and install the Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Tools for Office Second Edition Runtime (VSTO 2005 SE) (x86) from the Microsoft Download Center.
• Open a command prompt.
• Change to the directory containing the Zetadocs PDF installer.
• Run the following command to install Zetadocs with the Outlook Addin:
• • setup.exe /V"ADDINS=1 ALLUSERS=1"
