Summary

Access to the Dynamics NAV Windows Client is blocked after clicking Archive All Linked Items on a Zetadocs Document Queue on a Zetadocs server only deployment.

When using the Zetadocs NAV Server Capture Archive All Linked Items feature to archive documents, Zetadocs sends a request to the NAV server to autolink all linked documents present in the Document queue and waits for a response when finished. If the Document queue contains hundreds of documents this can take quite some time, and dependant on the NAV Server specifications. Access to the NAV Windows Client is blocked during the wait time.

To reduce this wait time, click the Archive All Linked Items button more frequently during the day to avoid a build-up of files or consider fully automating the process using a NAV job queue to run the process in the background.
