PRB: Connection to server lost when performing a save and send Print ZTN4141 ID: ZTN4141 This Zetadocs technical note applies to: Version 5.0 of Zetadocs Express Symptom On attempting to perform a save and send from the role tailored client an error message is displayed saying that the connection to the server has been lost. The error message is displayed below: The NAV Role Tailored Client will then exit on clicking either yes or no. Cause This issue can be caused by changes introduced in a hotfix Microsoft has produced for Navision. The build number for the hotfix that introduced the problem is 6.0.32673. Resolution This issue can be resolved be recompiling all NAV reports. The steps below explain how to do this: Open the Navision Classic Client. Open the Object Designer (Shift + F12 or ToolsàObject Designer) View all reports. Select all reports and press F11 to compile them.
