PRB: On opening a Microsoft Dynamics NAV page containing the Zetadocs Express addin, NAV crashes if a SharePoint site has not been specified. Print ZTN4208 ID: ZTN4208 This Zetadocs technical note applies to: Version 5.3 of Zetadocs Express Symptom On opening a Microsoft Dynamics NAV page containing the Zetadocs Express addin, NAV will crash if a SharePoint site has not been specified in the Zetadocs General Setting Page. Cause On opening a page with the Zetadocs Express addin installed, Zetadocs attempts to retrieve the related documents associated with that record. As there is no SharePoint site specified this attempt fails, generating an error which causes NAV to crash. Resolution This problem can be resolved by opening the Zetadocs General Settings Page and providing a suitable SharePoint Site address for Zetadocs to archive to. To do this simply: Go to the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Development Environment (Classic client) and open the Object Designer. Select the Zetadocs General Settings Page (9041210), and click Run. Click the Edit button and input your SharePoint site or site collection address as required, this is the bold section shown here: https://equisys.SharePoint.com/sites/MicrosoftDynamics/default.aspx. Note: Please ensure that you have only included the site collection address and not the specific page reference which appears at the end. Once you have added a site address click the test button to verify it. Close the settings page and open a page with the Zetadocs Express Addin installed and check that it now works as expected.
