PRB: Updating an Exchange Service pack causes the Zetafax connector to stop Print ZTN1165 ID: ZTN1165 This Zetafax technical note applies to: Zetafax 7.1 and later Microsoft Exchange 2000 and Exchange 2003 all service packs Symptom When you install a Service pack for Microsoft Exchange the Zetafax connector stops with the following error: "ZF2Kconnector.exe - Unable To Locate DLL" Cause When a Service pack for Exchange 2000/3 is applied it removes EXCHMEM.DLL from the system area which the Zetafax Connector service requires to start. Resolution To fix this issue work through the following steps on the Exchange server with the Zetafax connector installed on it, Locate the EXCHMEM.DLL file; this is normally located in \exchsrvr\BIN directory, where 'exchsrvr' is the name of the directory that Exchange is installed to. Copy the EXCHMEM.DLL file to the system area. This is normally \WINNT\System32. The Zetafax Connector service now will start without any errors.
