This section covers;- oAdding / Deleting Daily Rates

oAdd new Daily Rates via the Add Rate button.
oDelete Daily Rates via the icon to the right of the rate value you wish to delete.
oUse the Save button to save your changes.
The default rate will apply until a new rate is entered. Any new rates will be applied to allowances dated on, order after, the date of the new rate. To ensure the latest rates are applied to allowance, it is important to enter them in advance of their effective date.
The table below shows when each of the daily rates will be applied to an recorded allowance.
Note: These rates are used to calculate the total allowance value when a Daily Allowance is submitted. These individual rates are not shown to the submitter when entering a new daily allowance expense, however, they are used to calculate the total expense amount. The highlighted columns to the right will only be available if they are enabled for the allowance. It is anticipated that most clients will either use rates on a daily basis (Single Day -> Last Day), or rates for Breakfast -> Hotel. Using both rates will have an accumulative effect on the allowance. |
