Zetadocs requires the system to have up to date antivirus software otherwise errors will occur when sending via Outlook.

Electronic Archive Support
Zetadocs supports archiving documents to SharePoint Online (part of Microsoft 365), SharePoint Server and network folders on your file server for document archiving and retrieval.

Zetadocs Archive
The Zetadocs Archive Service runs on a server machine on your network and handles the archiving of documents captured and sent using Zetadocs.
The Zetadocs Archive Service uses a SQL instance by the name of ZETADOCS to store the metadata and act as an index for the archive. Zetadocs supports the following SQL versions.
- Microsoft SQL Server Express edition (installed by default)
- Microsoft SQL Server 2008, 2012, 2014 and 2016

Printer and Scanner Support
Zetadocs Capture can be used with the following devices for inbound document capture:
Desktop Scanners
- Locally attached TWAIN compliant scanners can be used with the Zetadocs Client.
Network Scanners
- Multi-function printers (MFP) and network scanners that support scan to network folders can be used with Zetadocs. See ZTN4091 for additional information to ensure barcode values are detected correctly.
Barcode Label Printers
- Most barcode label printers similar to the Brother QL-840NWB can be used with Zetadocs Capture Plus to print barcodes.
